HOSPITAL SPORTS WEEK 2025 : EXERCISE, WELL-BEING, SOLIDARITY
From October 6 to 10, 2025, our association organized its 21st Hospital Sports Week. The goal was to visit partner healthcare facilities almost every day to offer sports activities to children.
This 21st edition enabled 1,822 sick children to get moving, (re)discover the joy of sport, have fun, and burn off energy in nearly 90 hospital departments. From soccer to judo, table tennis, fencing, and even yoga… They were able to try out different disciplines, discovering new passions and promoting physical and mental well-being, while creating memories that were a little less harsh than their hospital stay. 211 sports activities were organized across all regions of mainland France thanks to the mobilization of the sports movement and our sponsors.
This 21st edition was also marked by the presence of top athletes who came to share their passion with the children. Among them were Olympic judo champion Clarisse Agbegnenou, legendary goalkeeper Fabien Barthez, Paralympic swimmer Ugo Didier, fencer Ludovic Lemoine, squash player Camille Serme, Assane Dioussé (AJ Auxerre), Nelson Lopez Pourtier, James Phelan, and Elhem Mekhaled. Their kindness and energy had a profound effect on both the children and their caregivers.
This week, which ended on World Mental Health Day, is a concrete reminder of how powerful a force sport can be in boosting morale, self-esteem, social ties, and escapism.
A huge THANK YOU to everyone who made this adventure possible this year, continuing on from the XXL edition of 2024: sports coaches, volunteers, clubs, committees, leagues, federations, hospital teams, sponsors, donors, and institutional partners.
See you in 2026 to write the 22nd edition of this wonderful story of humanity and solidarity together.
