A fantastic day of multi-site escapism

Adapted physical activities, discovering sports venues, and meeting top athletes: that’s the three-part program for our multi-site Escape Day! For this new 2025 edition, we welcomed nearly 6,800 children with illnesses and/or disabilities and their companions to the Stade Marie Marvingt (Le Mans), Matmut Atlantique (Bordeaux), Allianz Riviera (Nice), and Stade de France (Saint-Denis) venues.

Organized by the association for over 10 years now, first at the Stade de France and then at other stadiums, Escape Day allows sick and/or disabled children to escape for a day from their daily routine in medical and social facilities. With the help of the sports community and committed sponsors, Premiers de Cordée offers a wide range of sporting activities, as well as meetings with champions and stadium tours. This is an opportunity for many to discover different sports (e.g., sand yachting, skateboarding, curling, biathlon, etc.) and to raise awareness among young and old, parents and professionals alike about the physical abilities of children and the adaptations that can be made.

For the 2025 edition, we were delighted to welcome nearly 6,800 participants across all sites, a significant increase in attendance that demonstrates the impact of the event on the various regions!

A superhero theme
This year’s theme was superheroes, with specific disciplines and activities offered by the association and its sponsors.

Champions in attendance!
These events were all about sharing, and many champions were in attendance, much to the delight of the children! Our sponsors Arsène Wenger, Thierry Omeyer, Benjamin Ferré, and Yoann Huget, as well as champions from the Paris 2024 Games such as Marie Patouillet, Kylian Portal, and Hélios Latchoumanaya, and champions Robert Pirès, Axel Clerget, Timothée Adolphe, and Jean-Baptiste Alaize.
